I study gaseous nebulae and the interstellar medium. I have done research on both young star-forming regions, called H II regions, and planetary nebulae (PNs) that are formed when many stars reach old age. Our Sun is expected to undergo the PN phenomenon in roughly 5 billion years. Some of our recent work is illustrated via the first link below. You are also invited to view the "Great Orion Door Collection". If you find other non-astronomical uses of Orion, please let me know. A future update may then add it to the "door", with appropriate credit to you, for others to enjoy.
