Below are links to tables of the strengths of all of the H2O lines for which ISO observations have been proposed, given as a percentage of the strength of the H2 1-0 S(1) line, for Log[preshock H2 density]=4.0 to Log[preshock H2 density]=6.5, in steps of 0.5 dex. Each table contains results for shock velocities from 5 to 40 km/s in steps of 5 km/s. H2O line strength predictions have been made for all transitions involving the lowest 349 rotational levels of H2O. See ApJ 456, 611 for details of the calculations. Please contact Michael Kaufman if you would like to receive the calculated values for any line not listed below.
Please note: the strengths given for the 6.19 micron vibrational band in the tables below differ somewhat from the values given in the Kaufman & Neufeld paper due to a slight refinement in the calculation.
If you retrieve copies of these tables from this site, I would
appreciate if you would send me
email so that I can keep track of the use of this site.
