Astrochemistry Lab Amateur Astronomy Page

Some of the members of the astrochem lab are amateur astronomers and on these pages we show astro-photos they have taken and sometimes you will get to see images of them with their telescope.

First we have some photos taken by Scott A. Sandford, these include images of the moon, both before and during the recent eclipse, and comet Hale-Bopp and the 1999 transit of Mercury across the Sun.

Next, we have images of our group members (and their friends) with their telescopes. Click here to see Doug Hudgins and his friend Steve out in the desert.
